Speaking about the experiences of BBN contestants, Phyna said she knows a group of wealthy Lagos men whose romantic interests are limited to women who have appeared on the reality show.
“There are some Lagos big men, the only girls they date are BBN girls. They wait for new season to pick their next for the next one year,” she said.
Phyna noted that while some people may assume BBN girls are doing better financially than their male counterparts, the situation is not necessarily as straightforward as it appears.
She stressed that the male contestants are also working hard to succeed, but said life can be difficult for them as they navigate their careers and uncertain financial prospects after leaving the show.
The reality star’s comments have sparked conversations about the influence of wealth, fame and relationships on the lives of former BBN housemates.
